whooops! Mom got into a car (taxi) accident on friday night. Apparently, her cab was stationary and another cab rammed into them from the back. Since Mom was alighting, she didn't have her seatbelt on (she NEVER puts them on anyway :P). So in the end, we called the ambulance & I followed them to Tan Tock Seng Hospital (YEAH I GOT TO RIDE IN AN AMBULANCE! LOL). I was in my home clothes (cause I rushed down to the accident scene which was at the foot of my apartment block). Thank God the paramedic and nurses were kind enough to explain where to go, what to do and stuff like that. Went with Mom to the Emergency Room (ER) and waited for her to do X-Rays & stuff. There was some drama that happened in-between. LOL. So she had to pee and the male nurse pushed her bed to some 'Toilet Room' where those bedridden patients' bed get wheeled in and stuff. The male nurse told her to wait for a female nurse to help her. While she was in that 'Toilet Room', I decided to go poo. When I was done, I realized she was still inside so I waited right by the door. Suddenly, there was a loud bang. Hahaha turned out that the male nurse gave mom the bed pan thingy and asked her to wait and she threw the bed pan on the door to grab attention since she was inside for almost 30min (I'm serious, I poo really long) & still no one to help her pee!! LOL, there were 20 people at the ER place and all froze cause after throwing the pan she shouted at the nurse! HAHAHAHA so in the end a female nurse came running -.- So anyway, there wasn't any breaks or fracture. All there is was a sprained back that should get better soon. Thank God Mom was in a Mercedes cab so I guess the car managed to 'protect' her. The Toyota cab was .. crushed. Mom got a sprained back but the passenger in the Toyota cab got a sprained back & swells on arms and legs. & Thanks to all those who prayed :)  At least the accident occurred when she was in the cab (paying) & not when she's alighting :) Always see the positives in life :)   Photos were taken with Angelica's iPhone (No flash).
