Well, I won't rant on my experiences during 2007 cause it isn't even over. Instead, I'll share about my Christmas experiences..

I really want to thank the Shoffs for allowing me to participate in their tree decorating, it was a delightful experience as the spirit was there. Celebrating Christmas with their family for the past four years actually allows me to have the Christmas spirit that I can't really get from my asian family. Being a Christian helps, but not as much to actually feel all Christmas-sy. I remember the rush on every Christmas eve night, getting all the presents into place. I also remember all those Christmas shopping with Kasey.

Another family to thank is the Pangs. They brought us back to church, let us feel the warmth of a big family, tried new things together with us and experienced late night scrabble-ing that'll last for hours. The BBQ we did the day before was splendid though it was small. It was meant to just let a couple of us gather.
